Hey, I’m Nathan

Before we talk business, let’s get to know each other a bit!

A few fun facts about me

  1. I taught myself to play guitar, and ended up teaching a course to about 100 students too. John Mayer, anyone?!

  2. Board games are my kryptonite—particularly Settlers of Catan. So, if you’ve got a competitive streak, I’m your guy.

  3. Most of my free time is spent playing sports. Surfing, basketball, even Spikeball—you name it, I’ll play it.

  4. One of my favorite guys’ night activities is trivia. Over the years, I’ve amassed quite a bit of random knowledge, so hit me with your trickiest questions!

  5. I started taking photos in college, after a few of my friends chipped in to buy me my first camera. I’ve been hooked ever since!

My Experience

I began my photography journey in college when my friends pitched in to buy me my first DSLR for my birthday. I have not put it down since then!

After a few years of casual portrait photography, I decided to take fine art wedding photography more seriously and learn from both Lin and Jirsa Photography as well as The “I Do” Photography. Whether it is pitch black, or golden hour, I know how to get the shot, and make sure that you feel comfortable with the camera in front of you!

What I’m About

This is the part where I’m supposed to tell you about myself, but let’s be real—this is about YOU!

Here for you

From the first look, to the moment you say “I do,” and all the silly, endearing, sweet moments in between, I’m there to photograph everything. I’ll be there to capture you in all your glory, along with Grandpa’s coolest dance moves and your best friend’s weepy toast. All you have to do is enjoy your special day!

Making you shine

I’m all about getting a classic, clean, natural shot that shows you and your loved ones off at your finest. I want you to look back at your wedding album in 30 years and think, “Dang! We looked good!” My photos are a mix of poses and candids, so that you get to see everyone’s personality, while also making sure that Mom gets that Christmas card-worthy photo.

Great vibes

Feeling awkward? Not to worry. I’ve practiced all kinds of poses in the mirror, so I can show you exactly how to stand. I’m even willing to create my own candid moments by throwing my shoe at a tree (ask me about it sometime), climbing up fences, and wearing a disguise (if that’s really what you want). All this to say, I’m a pretty goofy guy, so at the very least, we’ll all have one thing to laugh about!
